You play as Takaya, an average high school student with a pastime of taking photos of his surroundings. After an incident seven years ago, he begins to see the future of his own death reflected in the photos he has taken.
Currently, he enrolls in Hitaki Academy at the request of his aunt, Naoko, in order to investigate an infamous internet urban legend "Black Swan".
